For as far back as Rudy can remember, he always wanted to be a firefighter. He realized that dream in 2008, when he signed up in the Kremmling Fire District, later moving to Grand Fire District 1. He served as a volunteer structure firefighter for seven years, earning certification for Firefighter 1, Hazmat, Certified Emergency Vehicle Operator and a Red Card in Wildland Certification along the way.
Rudy graduated with a BA/BS in Accounting from the University of Colorado in 1980 and has been licensed and practicing financial services for the past 38 years. His unique experience as a firefighter shaped his practice in financial services., Witnessing the heightened risk of critical injury, as well as long-term cancer and cardiovascular disease risk naturally led Rudy to start developing specialized protection and savings strategies designed exclusively for firefighters and other first responders.
Rudy's work with the firefighting community has led him become known as "the first responders' first responder". His work in the financial services industry has earned him multiple Top Producer awards, as well as the Love & Energy Award at Five Rings Financial. Rudy lives in Kremmling, Colorado, where he is active in the local Chamber of Commerce. He supports St. Jude Children's Hospital and Shriners Hospital of America and has coached tee-ball and softball in his spare time.
